Instant Preview Setup Instructions
After you submit your application, we will review it to determine if you qualify to become a Swank Press Merchant.
You will receive an email which includes a link for contacting our web programmer. You will request your personalized Swank Press site URL for the Instant Preview screen that houses our Swank Press catalog. It usually takes our programmer a couple of days to create the your personalized Swank Press site. Keep in mind that this Swank Press site will be configured to your shopping cart, therefore your cart must allow for personalized products. You may link to your Swank Press site from any page or pages on your website that you wish.
Once you have received the URL for your Swank Press site you will then place photo images of the Swank Press products in your store. You will find these images in the Marketing Tools section of your merchant account. The page also includes instructions for downloading the photos.
Once we have verified that the products are available for purchase on your site, you will then be eligible for a 40% share of your customer's purchase cost and you will be able to purchase products at a 40% discount through your merchant account.
Payment Instructions
In the email you receive after submitting your application, there is a second link for making a deposit into your Swank Press merchant account. From this initial deposit we will debit 60% of each order's retail cost. Remember, you will be receiving full payment for the orders from your customers. When that initial deposit draws down to a $0 balance, you can then pay in one of three ways:
- You can make a manual deposit for an amount of your choice
- You can save your credit card on an "Auto-Deposit" setting to charge your card automatically for an amount predetermined by you when your account reaches a certain threshold
- You can save your credit card on an "Auto-Deposit" setting to pay only your wholesale cost while always maintaining a $0 balance in your account
